Wrist Exercise
Problem
You need to increase the strength in your lead arm and would like to improve your backswing at the same time.
Cure
Swing a short iron with just your lead arm. This will exercise all of the muscles needed for swinging with the lead arm plus improve the swing technique and contact.
Therapy
Swing the iron up to the top of your backswing, using only your lead arm. Hold the position and twist your wrist over and back, over and back while at the top. You want this wrist to flatten or arch over in one direction then return it to a flat or cupped position. This will strengthen your lead wrist and other arm muscles.
