Why Bump and Run
Problem
You cannot decide if you should hit a bump and run.
Cure
A bump and run is a great shot to make when you have difficulty controlling your pitch shots or you want to keep the ball low in windy weather.
Therapy
The bump and run is a little more predictable because the sweeping motion decreases the chances of hitting it fat or thin. It is also a safer shot than a normal wedge shot because you do not have to swing as hard and is more forgiving. However, keep in mind that if there is long grass or lumpy turf, do not use this shot because it can cause some very unpredictable bounces.
