Tip From the Archives
Wet Flyers
Problem
The grass is wet and you keep overshooting your target.
Cure
Nailing the ball against the wet grass with your irons can create a slick reaction, causing you to overshoot your target. You might want to consider using a hybrid in this situation because you want to focus on gaining a more level and direct contact with the ball.
Therapy
Stand tall and use a longer club with less loft. Crowd the ball and choke up on the grip. Pay attention to where the bottom of your swing is as you take your practice swing. This is because it is important for impact to occur at the very bottom of your swing. Make a more level swing than you are used to with your irons.
What an awesome way to explain thisnow I know eevrhytnig!
