Weight Gain
Problem
Due to gaining extra weight, you are having difficulties swinging your arms past the front of your body. So you hunch or hang your upper body over the ball in order to make contact with it.
Cure
Remember the key to proper posture at set up is to bend at the hips and not by curving your back. Since it is more difficult for your arms to pass the front of your body, try teeing the ball a little lower and increase your knee flex. The more knee flex you add, the more you will need to push your bottom back to help maintain balance. Plus, you might find it helpful to choke down on the grip to help establish flush contact with the ball.
Therapy
Stand straight up with your shoulders back. Now bend your knees just a little so it feels comfortable. Keep your chin off of your chest as you allow your chest to tilt towards the ball. You want to feel almost like someone has a rope tied around your waist and is pulling on it so that your butt is moving towards your heels. Now double check your spine angle so that you are not slouching or hunching your body over the ball. Anytime you feel like you are forgetting to use proper posture, just imagine that someone is pulling on the rope to straighten your back and to center your body weight over the arches of your feet.
