Weak Fades
Problem
You constantly hit weak fades and slices. A likely cause is that you pick the clubhead up during your backswing, causing you to cup your wrist on your trailing arm. Then your lead hand is unable to square the clubface before making contact with the ball.
Cure
You need to flatten your wrist while making a smooth backswing in order to hit the ball straighter.
Therapy
A great visualization technique to help keep your wrist straight is to move the back of your hand so that it stretches straight away from the sleeve of your shirt. This should help widen your takeaway, starting a smoother pendulum motion for improved distance. It will also be setting your wrists up to allow the clubface to square at contact for a straighter ball flight. If the visualization technique does not work for you, try using a wrist guard or brace to help limit the movement on your trailing arm. Since you will need to allow a little hinging of your wrist, make sure that it is placed loosely on your trailing arm. This should help prohibit an exaggerated wrist flex and therefore the cupping your hand during your backswing.
