The Tee Shot for a Slicer
Problem
You slice the ball more times than you hit it straight. So how should you set up to the ball when you want it to fly as straight down the fairway as possible?
Cure
Naturally, you should work on curing your slice. But for now, you need to play the ball safely just in case it happens.
Therapy
Align your body and clubhead towards the left side of the fairway. This way, even if you hit a pull so it flies straight where you are aimed at or get a slight fade, you will still be sitting in a nice spot in the fairway. If you slice the ball, you will at least still be on the fairway for a more playable second shot. You could also try turning your forward hand in a counterclockwise direction on the grip to help bring your club head square at impact. Just remember to keep your head down as you take an even and relaxed swing.
