The Tee Shot for a Hooker
Problem
You hook the ball more times than you hit it straight. So how should you set up to the ball when you want it to fly as straight down the fairway as possible?
Cure
Naturally, you should work on curing your hook. But for now, you need to play the ball safely just in case it happens.
Therapy
Align your body and clubhead towards the right side of the fairway. This way, even if you hit the ball straight where you are aiming or get a slight draw, you will still be sitting in a nice spot in the fairway. If you hook the ball, you will at least still be on the fairway for a more playable second shot. Try to keep your head behind the ball because one common cause of hooking is from moving your head forward during the downswing.
