Tip From the Archives
The Ball Is Below Your Feet
Problem
Getting a fade, slice, or duffing because the toe of your club touches the ground first and opens the face of the club.
Cure
You need to use two clubs more to compensate of the shorter ball flight and to help you reach the ball easier.
Therapy
Grip the club near the end of the shaft, take a wider stance, and place your weight more on your heals than usual. Aim left of the target with your back foot back a little to help you keep your balance. The steeper the hill, the longer the club you will need and the more you will need to aim left.
