Swinging From the Inside
Problem
You need more power and push or slice the ball because you have too steep of an out-to-in swinging path.
Cure
You need to rotate your body properly so that you swing from the inside of the target line. This will help give you a more rounded swing, gain power and consistency because the clubhead is moving from inside the target line into the ball.
Therapy
A great way to help you gain the proper shoulder turn and feel of swinging from inside-to-outside swinging path is to practice hitting from a sidehill lie so that the ball is above your feet. This technique combined with a proper release of the club by allowing your hands to cross over naturally, it will result in a draw with greater distance and solid contact with the ball. On the contrary, if you use a strong grip and maintain the same wrist angle so the clubface is square to slightly open, you will see a fade instead.
How about when my divot is constantly left of the ball flight. Is this the cure for cutting across the ball?
