Squat Thrusts

Problem

You need an exercise that will increase your heart rate while strengthening your legs and arms at the same time, giving you a more powerful swing.

Cure

Do several squat thrusts until you are tired, walk around for a minute and repeat.

Therapy

Stand up straight then squat down while your palms are flat against the ground. Quickly push both of your legs back at the same time so you are bearing weight on your toes. You should now look like you are at the top position of doing a push-up. Quickly push off of the ground to move your legs back to the squat position, almost as if you are jumping into that position. Then push off with your hands and arms to jump up into a stand with your arms extended into the air. Repeat the squat thrusts again and again, without stopping until you become tired.
