Spiderman Pushups
Problem
You do not have a lot of time to exercise but you want to stay in shape for playing golf.
Cure
Even if you only have a couple of minutes a day to exercise try to include a strength building exercise or simple cardio like jumping jacks or using a jump rope. Do various styles of pushups to help keep your arms, wrists, shoulders, abs, and ankles strong.
Therapy
In addition to doing standard pushups, try doing some with your legs on an exercise ball. This will require you to use even more of your arms and abdominal muscles to help prevent the ball from rolling. Spiderman pushups are excellent for improving hip flexibility and incorporating an oblique crunch. As you lower your torso to the ground during the pushup, bring your knee out to the side and up near your elbow. Return your leg to the original position as you push your body back up. Repeat this procedure alternating legs each time.
