Sole It Correctly

Problem

You set up to the ball correctly on sidehill lies but you still hit off of the toe or heel of the club.

Cure

Assuming you have adjusted your stance correctly for a sidehill lie then chances are, the sole of the club may not be grounded properly.

Therapy

The lie will cause you to adjust your stance and arm position according to the hill. This will in turn change the angle the clubhead sits off of the ground and the tension in your arms and therefore grip pressure. Double check the way the sole of the club rests on the ground. Do not be afraid to go to a flat spot and see how the clubhead sets flush along the top of the grass when you start to set up to the ball. Adjust the way the clubhead sets on the hill so it sets flush along the top of the grass on the hilly lie as well. Then make sure you allow your arms to hang freely and swing along the slope of the hill.
