Slicing With Irons

Problem

Someone told you to pronate and supinate your wrists in order to kill your slice but you do not know what this means or how to do it.

Cure

This is just another way of saying to rotate your arms. In this case they are suggesting that you rotate your arms more back and forwards during your swing.

Therapy

Focus on your wrist movement to help achieve this pronation and supination. Remember to keep your leading arm close to your chest as you take the club back. Rotate your lead arm and try to get the face of your watch pointing towards the sky at the midpoint of your backswing. When you are able to do this then you will be able to slam down and shut the face into the ball.
