Shot Into the Wind

Problem

You need to hit into the wind.

Cure

Try to keep the ball low, to limit the effects of the wind. Remember the saying; swing easy when it is breezy. This is because if you try to add power to the shot, the wind can make a bad shot even worse.

Therapy

Encourage a more in to out swing by placing the ball an inch or more back in your stance. Choke down on the grip by a half an inch. If you are right handed, aim your feet further left than usual or further right for lefties. Take an easy swing with a well balanced finish.
