Scrub Your Walls
Problem
You want longer drives or need to find new ways to keep in shape for golf.
Cure
One really great exercise to help increase your driving distance is to wash your walls by hand. It allows you to build strength and stretch your arms and sides.
Therapy
You can wash the walls with your body facing the wall to clean them. Be certain to try to extend your reach as wash spots on your right side with your left arm. Scrubbing spots with the arm on the opposite side gives you a great opportunity to help extend the reach and length of your backswing and forward swing. For an even greater way to improve your drives, wash the walls by sitting on the floor with your side facing the wall. Make sure you wash spots both of your your hands in front and behind you. This will help improve your turning ability and provide a great stretch. Repeat with your other side facing the wall once you need to move to another location.
Sounds like this one comes from an ex-con but I think is genius. It's this sort of outside the box moves that actually help golfers improve.
I did it to scrub my son's artwork off of the walls and it is exhausting. You really need to stretch your arms and sides to reach spots. I think my swing will benefit from it.
