Right Ball Flight

Problem

The ball keeps flying to the right of your target line.

Cure

Work on synchronizing your arm, shoulder, and hip movements while swinging at 85 percent power.

Therapy

Check your set up position to see if your shoulders are pointing towards your target. If the ball is flying to the right of the target, you might find that your shoulders are pointing left of the target. This is because this set up makes it much easier to come across the ball at impact. Try not to kill the ball. Because another possibility is that your hips are turning through the shot a little faster than your arms and shoulders. That leaves the clubface open a bit. To correct this, you can try to keep your lower body more stable or allow your shoulders and arms to turn down just a little earlier to match the speed of your hips. It might be easier to just slow your hips down slightly to help you swing more in sync with the rest of your body.
