Problem

You are looking for a simple way to improve your swing.

Cure

Your downswing can be improved by simply initiating it differently. It is often started by shifting your weight onto your forward foot. However, it would benefit you more if you did this at the same exact time that you bring the elbow on your trailing arm back down towards your body.

Therapy

Practice moving the elbow on your back arm down towards your body as you begin your weight shift onto your forward side. This should be done as one step instead of two separate steps. You can practice this as one synchronized movement with or without a club. On the course, stare at the location you want the ball to land, take your swing, and remember to keep your head back. Practice this without a club a couple times each day and you will be surprised how much your swing will improve.
