Tip From the Archives

No Par

Problem

Your score is much higher than you want it to be.

Cure

Try not to obsess about the numbers on your scorecard. Wait until the end of the round before totaling up your score. This way you are not focusing on par and can actually enjoy the game.

Therapy

Go a round without recording your score. Instead of judging the quality of your round on the numbers on your score card, you should work on the quality of contact with the ball. Focus on making clean contact with the ball. Look at your lie and decide the best angle of attack to give you a solid shot. The more you can improve on contact, the better your score will be the next time you play.

This is me! Thanks for the advice!

One day on the driving range I'm Tiger Woods and two days later I'm worst then Charles Barkley. Why does that happen? Everything is the same, driving range, same clubs and No consistency. Why??
