Longer Waggle
Problem
You tend to flip the club with your hands and want longer drives.
Cure
Do not forget how important it is to waggle the club before you initiate your swing. This is a rehearsal for how you will return to the ball. So if you are flipping your hands through impact, make a longer and more pronounced waggle.
Therapy
If you waggle the club back just a few inches behind the ball, it might set you up to flip your hands towards the ball. Work on waggling the club back almost into a quarter swing so that you get the club more open up in front of you and then return near the ball. Think about extension as you do this. Now take your swing with the same key thought. Make a full shoulder turn to move the club back and up in a smooth motion. This is because if you keep the club too low, it will cause you to simply lift the club up without a good turn and flick your wrists at impact.
