Lead Arm Exercise

Problem

You need to improve the strength in your forward arm or want to keep it warmed up during the off season.

Cure

Use weights or one of your clubs to help build strength in your arms.

Therapy

Hold one of your lighter irons in your lead arm; which would be your left if you play right handed or your right if you play left handed. Extend the arm straight out in front of you with the toe of the clubhead pointing up. Turn the club clockwise so that the clubhead points down then turn it the other way. Repeat this ten times. Feel free to start to use heavier irons or use weights once you have strengthened your hand and arm strength.
