Jump Rope Drill
Problem
You want more speed.
Cure
Work on generating more clubhead speed so that the fastest point of your swing is a few inches past impact.
Therapy
A good way to work on creating a more powerful forward swing is to swing a jump rope and try to straighten the rope. You will need to get enough speed in order to keep the rope tight and straight. Find a rope that is about three feet long. If you use a jump rope, hold it with three feet hanging down and the rest wrapped around your wrist. Use your normal stance and grip. Do not expect to get the rope straight throughout the entire swing but the one point in your swing that you do want it straight is just past the impact position.
