Inside or Outside Putting
Problem
Your putts are not rolling true to your intended putting line.
Cure
You might be putting inside or outside of the putting line when you need to bring the putter straight back and forth along the line. Keep in mind that your stroke will follow your eye alignment. Make sure your eyes are square to the target line because if your head is tilted or outside of the target line, then your stroke will mirror it.
Therapy
A really simple way to see if you are pulling the putter straight back and forth is to pull the flagstick out and lay it down onto the ground along your putting line. Practice putting along the top of the flagstick and see if the putter swings off in an arch, angle, or if it remains true to your line. This will help you see if you are going too far inside or outside of the line. Continue to practice putting on top of the flagstick until your stroke brushes straight backwards and forwards along it. Then practice hitting the ball by placing it on the ground next to the flagstick so that your putter head can use it as a guide as you make your stroke.
