Hybrid Extension
Problem
Your upper body tends to bop up and down when you are using a hybrid in the fairway.
Cure
Work on making flush contact with the ball by staying down and making a full arm extension.
Therapy
Set up to the ball with your trailing shoulder a little lower than the other one. Focus on getting your trailing shoulder under your chin as you approach the ball. This will help you remember to keep that shoulder low, keep your original set up position, and to help you get a full shoulder turn. Remember the importance of extending your arms as you take the hybrid back and past the ball.
