Heels Up Drill

Problem

You straighten your trailing leg during the backswing and lose balance or make poor contact with the ball.

Cure

Swing with both heels off of the ground and this will help the straightening your trailing leg.

Therapy

Take your normal stance and then lift both of your heels up about an inch off of the ground. Focus on trying to keep your weight onto the balls of your feet. If you do not, you will lose balance due to placing too much weight on your toes. Let the heel of your forward foot to set back on the ground during the downswing.
