Tip From the Archives
Half in the Water
Problem
The ball is sitting in the water and you can see at least half of it sticking out of it.
Cure
This shot is playable as long as you can get stable footing and are not afraid to get a little wet in the process.
Therapy
Think of this shot as if you are setting up in a sand bunker. Solid footing is important and you need to move through the water before making contact with the ball. Using an aggressive swing, enter the water around an inch behind the ball. You should use a full wrist cock to help steepen your swing. The water will be thick and will slow the club down; so remember to keep accelerating the clubhead through the shot.
