Flatten Your Swing
Problem
Slicing the ball because your swing is too upright and from the outside in.
Cure
Turn your slice into a draw and gain distance by rotating your arms counterclockwise as you reach impact. To help fix your slice, you need to learn how a flat swinging plane feels to develop a more rounded swing that is on an inside square inside path.
Therapy
Setup to the ball and grip the driver as you normally would. Pick the club up off of the ground with your arms straight out in front of you. Now swing your driver around your body. This is an extremely flat swinging plane, like a baseball player would use. Practice swinging your driver like this several times, until you truly feel how flat this swing is. Then lower your arms by two inches during each subsequent swing until the club is touching the ground again.
