Eliminate Your Slice
Problem
You slice the ball with your driver and woods.
Cure
Check to make sure the clubhead is not open at impact. Another possible cause is that you are taking too steep of a swing with your woods as you would use with your irons. Try to shallow out your swing a little to see if this eliminates your slice.
Therapy
One drill to help flatten your swing is by swinging the club six inches above the ball. Do this by extending out your arms more than usual. Try to relax your arms and hands so you can have a better feeling for your release as they turn over at impact. This will make it easier for you to square the clubhead during contact. Try to recreate this feeling every time you tee off.
A common problem with many golfers is an incorrect Grip, a proper grip will reduce you slicing or hooking the ball. So if you're slicing the ball please check you grip first.
