Elevated Green

Problem

You have to putt on an elevated green and you have a hard time reading the break.

Cure

Use the elevated green to your advantage by analyzing the green before you set up to the ball.

Therapy

Some players will get down low to attempt to read the break. With an elevated green, this technique will be much easier to do. Walk off of the green behind your ball and try to get eye level with the ball. Notice where the green is high and low between your ball and the pin. You might even want to stand on the other side of the green to see the pin to your ball location for a different view of the break.

if everybody did this on the green it would take forever to play a round of golf, and I hope I dont have to get behind someone who wants to look at the green from all angles and than miss the putt badly
