Downhill Hazard
Problem
You are shooting short shot, downhill to the green but there is water or a bunker between your ball and the green.
Cure
Avoid hitting the ball down the hill by hitting a high shot onto the green.
Therapy
Use your sand wedge or most lofted club and set the ball back in your stance. Align your hips and shoulders to the angle of the slope. Your weight should be placed more on the target side giving a feeling as if you are leaning away from the slope. Since the ball will fly off towards the right, aim left of your target. Take your backswing up, swing down the slope into the ball and past it about a half of an inch before making your follow through. Because you are hitting downhill, the ball will fly lower than you expect.
