Cock Your Head

Problem

You see a lot of high and short shots that either hook or push right of the target.

Cure

You might be playing the ball too far forward in your stance. Try moving the ball closer to the center of your stance and see if it fixes the problem.

Therapy

Another possible cause for this problem is that your dominant eye is the furthest eye from the target. You might be moving your head excessively in an attempt to watch the shot. Try turning your head so you can see the target better at setup and keep it that way throughout the swing. Normally, you want both eyes to be pointing down at the ball but if your dominant eye is furthest away from the target, you might find it beneficial to have your head turned so that only your dominant eye is pointing down towards the ball and your other eye is pointing more towards the target. This will improve the view of the ball in your peripheral vision for your dominant eye.
