Bunker Rough Shot

Problem

The ball is sitting in the rough near the green and you only want a little roll.

Cure

Treat this shot as if you are playing it out of the bunker. Just imagine the grass is just a bunch of sand.

Therapy

Set the ball forward in your stance. Open the face of the club as if you are playing in the bunker. Remember to use a strong grip to help prevent the club from turning in your hands. Just as you would in the bunker, you want to take a nice, long swing. The ball should fly up and run a little bit on the green.
