Bermuda Grass

Problem

You are getting ready to play on a different course that uses Bermuda grass.

Cure

You will need to set up and hit the ball a little more like a chip when hitting on wiry or sandy Bermuda grass.

Therapy

Select the appropriate iron for the distance. Set up to the ball as usual. Be sure to place your hands well ahead of the ball. As you do with any iron, hit down onto the back of the ball. This will be especially necessary because the grass will not provide much resistance against the clubhead.
